As the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and DPO (Data Protection Officer) specializing in Cyber and Data in a bank, you will be responsible for leading efforts to protect the company’s data and computer systems against cyber threats, while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You will lead a team dedicated to information security and data protection, and develop strategies to mitigate cyber risks while fostering innovation and company growth.
Responsibilities
Information Security
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for information security to protect the company’s assets and data.
- Monitor cyber threats and system vulnerabilities closely, and take proactive measures to strengthen security.
Data Protection
- Ensure that the company complies with all data protection regulations, such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data protection compliant with international standards.
Cyber Risk Management
- Assess potential cyber risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, considering the company’s needs and regulatory requirements.
- Implement incident response plans and crisis management procedures to address potential cyber threats.
Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with information security and data protection standards and regulations.
- Maintain transparent communication with regulatory authorities and oversight bodies on information security and data protection matters.
Team Management
- Coach, motivate, and develop a talented team of information security and data protection professionals.
- Promote a culture of information security within the organization and educate employees on best practices in security.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in leadership roles in information security and data protection, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of information security and data protection regulations, including the GDPR.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, law, or a related field. Certification in information security (e.g., CISSP) and data protection is an advantage.
