Role Summary
Wilson Harbors (Mauritius) is offering part-time internship opportunities for students pursuing studies in accounting, technology, economics, or law. Interns will gain hands-on experience in their respective fields, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real projects. Internship Areas and Key Responsibilities
Accounting
- Assist with data entry, financial reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
- Support in reviewing financial reports, invoices, and expense tracking.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting tasks and help maintain organized financial records.
Technology
- Participate in basic IT support, data analysis, or website maintenance tasks.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and supporting team members with technology needs.
- Conduct research on digital tools and support software updates or data management.
Economics
- Support in collecting and analyzing data for economic research projects.
- Conduct basic statistical analyses and assist with data visualization.
- Help prepare reports and presentations summarizing economic findings.
Legal
- Assist in organizing and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and files.
- Conduct research on relevant legal topics and provide summaries.
- Support in drafting correspondence, meeting minutes, and basic legal documents.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Information Technology, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and commitment to pursuing a career in the chosen field.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Skills:
- Accounting: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Technology: Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting, MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
- Economics: Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS) and economic data sources.
- Legal: Proficiency in MS Word and basic understanding of legal terminology.
